I’m a big fan of much more then just circuits and computer architecture. I’ve had a deep passion for music since I was very young, and I could never find myself to far away from a drum set. Over the last decade, I’ve enjoyed being apart of different music communities, leading up to the University of Washington Drumline and Marching Band.

However, I also enjoy bringing out the best in our music community, and bringing change in ways other than being a performer. Since 2024, I’ve been hosting a drumline festival I host at my alma mater Orting High School, where schools and groups from all over Washington State come to perform and compete against each other at “Battle of the Sound”.

I enjoy finding ways to combine my interests in music development and engineering as well. During high school, I founded a group called “Sonus Rhythms”, which I originally used as an alias to write my own music which is now used by schools across the country. However as of the last year I’ve spent time working with industry leaders and like minded students on developing my own “smart drum” to help kids learn how to play all kinds of different percussive instruments. This has, and will continue to be a passion project of mine that I will continue to strive to improve and give to the community so more people can find their love for music just like I did.
